Dans une autre vie, John-Paul a été le membre fondateur de The Lancaster Bombers, alors salué par la presse anglaise comme un très grand groupe de rock’n roll. Il fut également dans le collectif post-punk Groop, aussi culte qu’underground à Londres, et qui sortit 3 singles sur son propre label.
Francisco arrive de Berlin, rampant hors du caniveau et de l’ombre où il a produit une série remarquée de disques de house expérimentale et abstraite.

Les deux se sont rencontrés à la pharmacie, ont partagé un soda à la cerise et ont formé Society.

Society falls into a corridor of owls, leaking with the remnants of a half-finished bottle of wine recently stolen from the crystal girls. She fixes her hair, races across a clear blue mist sky and thinks about the impossibility of death, her madness in the final fetid stages of development. She knows instinctively that she has lost – that tomorrow will take her to the furthest reaches of some twisted sickness in the outer limits of yesterday’s faltering, failed, and always elusive dreams.
